Gamestop actually replaced my PS3 for free because they understood my woes. I couldn't get my data off the old one, but at least I can once again play GT6!

PlayStation Plus auto downloaded the game update last night. I was able to play a bit this morning!

That's terrific. I generally despise GameStop. An early Christmas present! And as I tell my kids when they lose their progress, "Well, you had fun getting there the first time, so you'll have fun getting there again."

That last bit was exactly what I told myself after I lost ALL of my progress in Forza 4 (after I had completely beaten it) when, for some unknown reason, the flashdrive I stored it on got wiped.
